Monica (under the art name: Limned, was born on February 1984 in Tehran, Iran. She commenced writing poems when she was taking her second school year. During her schooling period she found that she has some talents for drawing and singing. The political, economic and social conditions of her home country made her to travel frequently within Iran besides her migration experiences. It made her be in contact with people from a wide range of ethnics, religions, social and individual believes. She commenced painting and playing guitar (flamenco) since 2010. However she decided to pursue paintings professionally since the beginning of 2020 while she find it the only and true remedy to her during the taught and stressful days of the Covid Pandemic locked down. Since then she has released two painting Collections, Remedy (her first collection which is done during the first 14 month of pandemic era) and Cycles, the second collection again inspired by her understanding of life during Crona time. As of now, she has two other collections in progress, the 'Lady moon' and the 'Forced Migration'.
