Andrés is a Dominican Visual Artist. His work stems from an epiphany, in the constant search for the timeless, with the intent to turn the ordinary into something emotionally questionable. Playing with the release of the unconscious and trusting his own instinct, he distills emotions in the process of creating each piece. He began his art studies at the age of 9 in fine arts, continuing with studies at Chavón and at UNAPEC University, where he studied advertising and photography, as well as fashion marketing at Chavón. Andrés had his first exhibition at the age of 12, titled "Brushstrokes for a Dream," directed by Professor Damaris Encarnación. His artistic focus centers on the dissolution of facial boundaries and the exploration of identity through introspection.
